We were super excited to bring a slice of the seaside to Blackburn, especially when the weather outside was over 30 degrees! Our Marine Rangers were on hand to show off the amazing range of species that live within these micro habitats on British shorelines.

It was wonderful to see so many children and adults getting involved, asking questions and holding some of the animals,including hermit crabs and mussels.

We would like to extend our thanks to the Duchy of Lancaster Fund who have supported Aqua Explorer CIC in purchasing a new rock pool aquarium and the information boards.  

These conferences are so very important, showcasing the work of schools, charities and organisations in the drive against climate change, all working together for a better and more sustainable future.
